Cast your crown before me

Cast your crown before me

I saw line after line of people walking towards the throne room of God and as they went angels placed crowns on their heads. Once they approached the throne, however, the weight of God’s glory caused them to bow lower and lower and, overwhelmed with reverence and awe, they removed their crowns and placed them on the ground, bowing with their faces to the floor. Power and majesty, light and love, glory and rejoicing pulsed from the throne in wave after wave over them.

I heard God say, “now is the time that I am teaching my church all about kingship, about authority, about the knowledge of who my children are and the power that they yield. I am the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords.  All power and authority is sourced in me. Those who come in worship, who learn how to behold and steward the intensity of my glory will be found worthy”.

He is saying to you today “know that you are a king, that you possess royal authority legally given by me. You are my mouthpiece, my spokesperson, the carrier of my justice and truth, the bearer of love to my precious ones. Keep your eyes fixed on my throne, cast your crown before me and know that the crown does not define the wearer but that the qualities that the wearer possesses makes their regalness unquestionable. Enter the peace of knowing who you are but above all of knowing who I am.”

Psalm 95:1-7
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker; for he is our God.
